“A beautiful canvas of food can evoke emotion and ignite a spark of nostalgia, and it’s my goal to help capture that”

Erica Rodriguez is a London-based, food photographer and stylist. Her work as a creative, spans across 18 years, starting out in her career as a make-up artist, dividing her time between Paris and London, and later, revisiting her passion for all things food-related. Over the years she has developed a strong eye for detail, together with an in-depth understanding of colour theory, composition, and how to capture a visual story centred around food.

Erica styled and photographed the imagery for her debut cookbook, Nourished Kitchen, which was published in January 2024, and has recently finished shooting and styling a collection of international recipes for Cook Eat Share, a cookbook commissioned by Notting Hill Genesis, due to be published in March 2024.

In addition to her commercial work, Erica is a Registered Nutritionist, experienced cook and recipe developer, and works closely with brands to produce stand-out content from concept through to creation. Clients include Sheerluxe, Bare Biology, Mindful Chef, and Viners.

In her spare time, Erica enjoys baking copious loaves of sourdough and growing her own vegetables; later to be transformed into something delicious!
